I WORK and have other responsibilities - how can school fit in?

If you have a goal and make a plan to achieve it, you WILL succeed. Many others like yourself -- with work, family and other responsibilities – have set high goals and achieved them. It may not happen overnight, but it can and WILL happen!
Here are some words that may help you think about the possibilities for success:

  • “Anything I've ever done that ultimately was worthwhile... initially scared me to death.”  --Betty Bender

  • “Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out.” --James B. Conant

  • “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” --John Wooden

Many Georgia colleges and universities have local or“satellite” campuses that offer classes close to home – many at night or on weekends. Check into programs close to you and ask about classes designed for the “non-traditional student”.

TIME is a big factor for everyone. That’s why “online learning” has become so popular. In Georgia, you can register at certain technical colleges and take classes online. In most cases, you never have to go to the campus!

  • Frequently Asked Questions (“Get to Know Us”)
  • Becoming an Online Student (“Tell me how…)
  • Technical Certificates of Credit available online (“Programs of Study”)
