SCHOLARSHIPS & INCENTIVES staff help early childhood education professionals by providing information and answers to questions about many aspects of going back to school, including:
-
Identifying educational options in the early childhood education field.
-
Identifying places to go that offer early childhood education credential or degree programs on-site or online.
-
Identifying steps needed to enroll in a college or university.
-
Applying for the SCHOLARSHIPS and INCENTIVES programs.
-
Identifying other sources of financial aid.
Staff provide outreach and educational advisement to potential applicants at conferences and meetings around the state, as well as via telephone. Here, Jane Brown and Sally Dunn greet attendees at the 2009 GAYC Conference booth for SCHOLARSHIPS & INCENTIVES. At the GAYC Conference, the programs also sponsored a College Fair and Ms. Brown presented a session on Professional Development: The Nuts & Bolts of Going Back to School.
To request an application or for additional information, call 800-227-3410 (toll-free) or 770-642-6722. Educational Advisement is a free service of SCHOLARSHIPS & INCENTIVES.
