Warm weather starts the outdoor water play season for child care programs. Sunny days, summer camps and special water activities are fun for everyone. That’s why it’s also time for National Recreational Water Illness Prevention Week, the week before Memorial Day. This yearly observance helps focus on water safety and illnesses that can spread from contaminated water. There are many things you can do to keep children safe, including reviewing water safety guidelines.
