The Professional Development Registry (PDR) is a recognition system
established to document and verify professional achievements of
people who work in Georgia's Childhood Care and Education settings.
Practitioners (participants) can request a copy of their certified
record of training directly from the Registry. This record details
community- based training the childcare provider has completed.
A project of ACET, the Professional Development Registry recognizes
practitioners' professional development accomplishments.
Teachers:
- Promote a professional image
- Provide a personal record of individual professional development
accomplishments
- Provide a statement of personal qualifications and commitment
to the field
- Expand career potential by providing a tool for future planning
- Track progress in obtaining credentials
- Enhance career potential by providing documentation of DHR
or CEU approved trainings attended
- Place you on the mailing list for the Smart Start Georgia INCENTIVE$
program
Administrators:
- Streamline the licensing process for reviewing staff qualifications
- Provide a tool for accessing previous training
- Support recognition of staff educational achievements
